European Cyber-security Month celebrations have started!
Child in the world of smart toys, women in IT, threats on the Polish Internet and freedom in the digital world - these are just some of the topics that we will discuss during the inauguration of the European Cyber Security Month. The event will take place on the 1st October in "Space from Facebook" in Warsaw.
This year more than 20 partners have been engaged in the campaign, submitting their events and initiatives. This involvement shows that in Poland we take cyber-security seriously and we perfectly understand the motto of the ECSM: "Cyber-security is our common responsibility" - says Krzysztof Silicki, director of NASK.
The campaign is held under the honorary patronage of the Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Affairs, Minister of Science and Higher Education, Minister of National Education, Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology and Minister of Health.
ECSM is the European Union’s annual awareness raising campaign dedicated to promoting cybersecurity among citizens and organizations, providing up-to-date security information through education and sharing of best practices. The Cyber Security Month is organised by the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security ENISA, the European Commission and over 300 partners (local authorities, governments, universities, think tanks, NGOs, professional associations) from all over Europe.
